best of critical scholarship to view and understand the Bible
and our Christian Tradition.
We seek a clearer
understanding of faith in the context of the world view of
2008.
We live in a time of
an explosion of knowledge and self-confidence The Bible and
our faith have never been under such intense questioning. We
are stimulated to be living at a time when the Church is
going through unprecedented change and see ourselves as a
progressive Church, part of the coming together of an
Emerging Church. We therefore look towards the
future with considerable hope and anticipation.
