Modbury Uniting Winter Seminars

These very popular Series of thought provoking seminars will be held again this year on the four Sundays in August.

The topics this year will explore the nature of God's revelation and the unique understanding of these revelations within the four major religions of Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Buddhism.

The speakers this year exploring God's Revelation are:-

Rev. Frank Measday     Sunday August 3rd Frank will introduce the theme of these seminars and give a Christian approach to the search for God.

Rabbi Shoshana Kaminsky   Sunday August 10th Rabbi Kaminsky will develop the theme from a Jewish perspective.

Sherifa Khan from the Muslim Women's Association   Sunday August 17th Mrs Khan will extend the theme into the Islamic interpretation of the topic.

The Venerable Thich Thong Phap   Sunday August 24th Venerable Phap will conclude the series with a unique Buddhist view.

The format will be the same as previous years - a Presentation by the guest speakers from 6.00 - 6.45pm

A Shared tea from 6.45 - 7.30pm and then a chance to put Questions to the Presenter 7.30 - 8.15pm

Everyone is welcome the only charge being a gold coin donation.
